Distributors pick "Best of the Reps" 2000

In January of this year, TED Magazine asked distributors in each of NAED's four regions to pick which manufacturer representative firm provided the highest level of service in the year 2000 - and should be deemed "The Best."

Votes were cast for the firm which offered the best overall planning, e-commerce ability, support, product and skills training, market knowledge and responsiveness.

The winners were narrowed down to one firm from each region and awards were handed out at the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association's annual meeting in Boston on March 23.

Commitment ... service ... integrity. Those are the three words that the sales team at Desert Electric mentioned time and again when talking about why they nominated Stellar Sales of La Mirada, Calif.

Tim Schultz of Desert Electric Supply in Palm Desert, Calif. says "When I want something now, I get it right now from Stellar Sales."

Dan Dockry, president of Stellar Sales was very surprised when he found out that Stellar was voted "Best of the West."

"We are very humbled by this award. It's an honor to be recognized by the most important people we serve - our customers. The best way for us to say 'thank you' is to continually improve the level of service we provide. It looks like we just raised the bar!"

In the last 10 years, Stellar Sales has grown from representing only two manufacturers to a current listing of 17.
